July 13 Meeting Minutes

The Town of Claremont met in regular session on 7-13-10 at 7:30p.m. President Thompson called the meeting to order with Trustees Hinrichs and Johnson present. On a by Johnson and seconded by Hinrichs the following bills were allowed: General: Petroleum Partons, gas-mowing, 529.00; IRS, late fill free, 27.75; 4 Season’s Coop, used Killer ball park, 211.93; Northern Energy, lights, 220.58; Groton Independent, publishing, 26.11; Br. County Treasurer, mosquito spraying, 280.00; James Valley, phone service, 57.18; IRS, fed Quarterly report, 613.46; unemployment Ins.SD. employers quarterly, 34.97; Charla Rye, wage, 290.00; Darwin Ives 100 hrs., 740.00; Post office, stamps, 44.00; WSSW: Northern Energy, water & sewer, 332.13; BDM, water used, 543.40; Dept. of Revenue, water samples, 24.00; Ecolab, pest elimination, 139.50; USA Blue Book, ph meter, 205.11; Carrie Pulfrey, meter reading, 92.35; Rural Development, monthly payment, 576.00; The addition of more outlets for campers at the ball park will be put on hold for this season due to the flooding this spring. Thompson reminded the board that FEMA will be in the area in the near future. They are just running behind schedule. Noted: need to order one 6th ave sign and bracket. With no further business before the board a motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Hinrichs to adjourn. Motion carried.
