ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Groton's Street Department is responsible for
street repair and upkeep within the city limits.
Each year, the city seals 40 blocks of streets in its maintenance program. The
city also takes pride in its snow removal with most of the streets cleared by
mid morning.
