Rubble Site
Groton's Rubble Site is located south of town. Hours of operation:
April through October
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
November through March: Call City Hall for an appointment, 397-8422
Permit Fees
One Time Use: Individual: $5 ~ Contractor: $15
Annual: Individual: $20 ~ Contractor: $50
Loads of Concrete will be charged $10 per load
Items Allowed: Concrete, non-treated and non-painted wood, iron, grass, trees, appliances without Freon, non-contaminated dirt.
Items not allowed: Garbage, animal remains, tires, batteries, paint or chemical containers, paper, petroleum products or containers, cardboard, grain, plastics, carpet, furniture, ash.
